Your toddler is stepping up and out into the world as they get the hang of fine and gross motor skills like pointing, grabbing, stacking, dropping (a toddler favorite!), crawling, climbing, and even those first steps. Although it’s a long way from here to adulthood, around now your kiddo might be trying out their best grown-up imitation — talking on the phone (that looks remarkably like a banana) and driving to work (in that leftover furniture box). Let the pretend play begin!
