What you get
Make some noise with a set of colorful wind chimes that you build yourself! Construct a stand to hold the chimes, then explore the science of pitch by tapping on the different-sized chimes with a striker. Keep your chimes inside to freestyle your own tunes or hang them outside for an easy, breezy serenade.
From the desk of the product designer:
Behind the design
“I tried hanging the chimes from soft nylon cords at first, but they kept absorbing the sound! So I swapped the cords for fishing line, which worked a lot better.”

Very easy to build! My son loved using it. Best of all we like that its sturdy and and useful so it is worth the space to display it we do not have to debate if we will need to throw it out in the future.
My 7 year old was able to do this himself and absolutely loved it. He is colorblind but was able to read the words which said which color / size rubber rings to use and was excited about that as he recently learned to read. He loved the different option builds and that there is a place to store the mallet. Being able to pick which beads to use to customize the part which hangs down was exciting to him, too. We purchased a few crates and this was the one he picked to do first. Nice job, KiwiCo!
